Scheduled Maintenance Service Outage- upgrading Upgrading the File Server (running Staffshare)  

Description: On Wednesday afternoon we will finalise the project to upgrade the File Server ( running Staffshare) . This upgrade is to upgrade the operating system to provide improved performance and to allow us to always run the most up-to-date security patches. During the time of finalising this upgrade, Staffshare will be unavailable to all users who are on-site AND any user using the VPD to access Staffshare remotely.

 

Location: On Campus


Start Time: Tuesday 28 September 2021 - 1 PM

 

Planned Outage Duration: Four hours

 

Impact: Users who are on-site or who are accessing local resources using the VPN will be unable to access the Staffshare. We believe we have spoken directly to all those who will be impacted - if you aren't sure whether this includes you, please contact IT Helpdesk directly. 


Access to all other services including Google Drive, MyTyndale, Helpdek, PC School will continue unaffected
